More Improvement (Prop)
Adding and Editing Shadows
Done a few changes to the shadows and also added more shades of darker and lighter areas. I also added a faint basic stitching back onto the patch on his chest.
Added even more detail into shading and I also made the texture show through slightly more. However im yet to decide if I prefer it or not.

Texturing
I was suggested putting a texture on my bear to make it look a little more realistic. Now I did not know how to originally do this so i found out. After discovering how to apply a texture i applied a carpet texture to my bear.
Carpet texture
Applied to bear
Now neither the Shadow or the background are well done and so will be changed for the future. However overall the concept for the bear as an item is coming along well and will be done soon. However do need a few more things added such as stitches around the patch and also stuffing (cotton) coming out the missing ear location.

Prop Progression
My Prop is a teddy bear at the moment so it was not to hard to sort of thing of a basic shape for my prop. I used references online to look at to assist me with this.
Step 1 (Outlines)
Now this was the simple outline i draw for my teddy bear. I did use a few online drawings to understand the angle at which I wanted to draw it from. I wanted it to also look a little beat up so i removed an ear, put a patch on his chest and also remove an eye.
Step 2,3 (colour and shading)
So keeping the outline I had I coloured in and shaded the teddy bear in places I assumed would need shading if there was a light from the top left. Now I never actually coloured in the teddy completely then shade it. I coloured and shaded parts of the teddy bear gradually which is why I did not have a basic colour image.
Step 4 (removing outlines and touching up)
Basically outlines was on a different layer so I simply removed it and then i just sharpened up so edges and smoothed out other parts a little more. I also had to re-add the mouth and the sawn up patch on his eye.
Step 5 (shadow and Background.)
Now the background is simply a gradient going from top left to top right. I then added the shadow from how i thought it should look.
This may not be the final stage of the drawing but it is what I have so far.

Environment Development
Now because i would find the environment kind of hard to draw i felt the need to create a simple version of it in a 3D program and take rendered images of it to help me understand what the environment will look like and what the feel is. All the images below are me looking at what kind of angle i could use and what lighting will look good and give it a dark atmosphere.
I Do understand that this is not exactly the usual way to get basic concept and design for my ideas. However this assists me on the basic shapes and how the scene will look.

Environment inspiration
Now my first thought on an environment was going to be a simple street with maybe a blackout. However i was suggested the idea of maybe the environment could be of hell considering the character goes to hell. Now i did not want to do the simple idea such as just a place with fire and lava. Someone said how about making it look like the mines of moria from lord of the rings. So i looked at a few images of mines of moria so i could get an overall idea to what my scene could look like. However because it is hell i will place hellish things in the environment such as skeletons/corpses and i also want the feel that the character is surviving there so i will also have a campfire or something.
