Holiday Work

So throughout the holiday I have done no work to help me improve for future lessons. I Yesterday found a program called Sculptress. Now This program from what I'm aware of is made by the same people that make ZBrush and Sculptress is a free program that has been developed. The only type of modelling I have ever really done is box modelling so sculpting is new to me, however in a day these are the results of a few hours of work.

In about an hour or less i designed a basic looking lion. Now I didn't purposely want to design a lion but while I was playing with the sphere you get at the start, I formed the shape of a lion and then put more detail into it. I feel this is extremely helpful for future character/animal modelling that I may need to do.

I done found a material/colour tool that allowed me to put some basic colours on my model.

After the Lion I felt more confident with creating something more complex and because I wanted to get better at designing characters I started modelling a person. More specifically a female model.

Now I used zero references to create the model below so the model probably doesn't fit the proportions of a real person.

The model is clearly not finished however after a few hours of work I thought that taking a few pictures of the progress would be helpful. I used a basic skin material to start so I could get a better ides on how it should look.
